Yesterday, Thursday, September 18, PALLAY participated in Expo Perú Los Andes, an event that brought together national and international buyers interested in products born from the art, tradition, and identity of the Andes.
The fair, held at the Marriott Hotel in Cusco, was a meeting place where pieces such as ponchos, jackets, mittens, hats, and other local products that reflect the value of handmade craftsmanship were presented.
For PALLAY, it was a great opportunity to showcase the work of our weavers from high Andean communities, who use the backstrap loom to convey history, culture, and sustainability in each piece.
Participating in these types of initiatives allows us to continue bringing ancestral textile art to new markets, generate valuable connections, and strengthen our commitment to continuing to bring the tradition of the Andes to the world.
We thank PromPerú and the organization for making this fair possible, which promotes entrepreneurs and strengthens the value of handmade products.
