At PALLAY, each hand-woven piece is much more than a garment; it is a testament to ancestral art, collective effort and the value of family as a fundamental pillar.
We are excited to share that in the first edition of Caja Arequipa's Entrepreneurial Pride contest , we were recognized with the gold award in the Family Value category and also obtained the Grand Prize highlighting our impact as a BIC company.
The value of Peruvian textile art in a national award
The competition, which brought together more than 700 entrepreneurs , seeks to recognize initiatives that generate impact. For PALLAY, these awards are a demonstration of the transformative power of Peruvian craftsmanship and how artisanal looms are much more than tools: they are the heart of our communities.
Family and teamwork: The key to our achievements
Family values have been essential to PALLAY since its beginnings. Behind each unique piece there is a committed team, working side by side with the high Andean weavers to preserve and promote their textile art. This award is a reflection of the collective effort.
Allocating the prize to the weavers
The greatest recognition goes to our weavers, talented women who use traditional techniques to create unique pieces. For this reason, we have decided that the prize money will be used to create new looms, strengthening their production capacity and, with it, their economic empowerment.
A sustainable commitment to the empowerment of rural women
This recognition reaffirms our commitment to preserving traditions and promoting sustainable development. As a BIC company, we believe in the power of handmade to connect cultures and generate real opportunities.
Thank you for being part of our history . Let's continue together on this journey to value what is ours and create a positive impact in our high Andean communities.
